Machu Picchu, Page 1
Our trip to Machu Picchu began at 6:00 A.M. from Cusco with a 4 hour train ride through the Sacred Valley of Urubamba to the Pueblo of Aguas Calientes, which is now called Machu Picchu Pueblo.

Train Station

The train had windows in the roof and we were able to look up. Besides the beautiful scenery we were astounded to see four houses stuck into the side of a rocky mountain about three-quarters of the way up. The only way to reach these houses was to climb up the vertical wall of this mountain. However, after getting there I personally would not be that relieved. After all, how secure could these houses be? It scares me just to think about it.
