DUBAI, UAE
EMIRATES MALL, BURJ AL ARAB
|
|
Mall of the Emirates Mall , with 2,750,060 square feet features "Ski Dubai," the Middle East's first indoor ski resort and snow park. Here we were watching people skiing inside a below freezing indoor ski slope while outside the temperature was 110º.

I felt so much more comfortable walking around Dubai. From what I experienced in Doha 90% of the people were dressed in thobes and abayas, as opposed to Dubai were 10% of the people I saw were wearing them. I even saw women walking around in shorts and sleeveless blouses. I actually was very surprised to see this. You saw this in the video on the previous page.

Dubai is home to the only 7 start hotel in the world, the Burj Al Arab.
This lavish and opulent hotel will set you back about $2,000 per night.
Because of the hotel's reputation, public access to the property is very limited.
Our tour organizer arranged for us to have afternoon tea at the hotel. In this way we were able to pass through the very tight security and explore the property.
All I could say is WOW!!! Not only is the structural design of this building amazing but interior design was astounding as well.
I am so happy that I had an opportunity to get inside, since I would not have been able to do this if we did not have a reservation for afternoon tea. |
