Cienfuegos and Trinidad
Besides visiting the Jewish community and the pregnancy clinic we used Cienfuegos as a base for several outings. The Faro Luna Hotel where we stayed was out of town but directly on the water. It had beautiful views. We took lovely cruise, were entertained by a wonderful young choral ensemble and had dinner in the Arabian Nights like Palacio de Valle. Built in 1917 the structure resembles an outrageously ornate Moroccan casbah. The following day ventured into the center of Ceinfuegos and traveled to the city of Trinidad enjoying the scenic city and its crafts markets.
