In 2015 La Paz was voted as one of the 7 New Wonder Cities of the world.
It is easy to see why. Many of you know that I am in love with Nepal. To me Nepal is pure magic. Well, I almost got the same feeling being in La Paz. First of all the people look very similar, and secondly they are just as warm and friendly. The setting of La Paz with its snow capped mountains reminds me so much Nepal. I bet my Himalayan guide, Prem, would feel very comfortable there.
Bolivia is the poorest country in South America. The mix of people who live in or near the City of La Paz is amazing and very diverse. They struggle and yet the city is alive and vibrant..
